StreamMyGame tries to keep up with the latest codec developments but we rarely use the latest releases as many have not proved themselves to be stable.
We are now supporting Version 1.11 of the AC3 decoder. Get it here
Please note you cannot use any later version than 1.11
This decoder enables you to receive a game stream containing AC3 from the StreamMyGame server. Using AC3 rather than standard PCM audio reduces the bandwidth required by up to 1.3Mb per sec which will make StreamMyGame far more efficient over WiFi and other low bandwidth networks such as 802.11G as used on Netbooks and MIDs.
