Streaming games from your main PC to another PC, Laptop, MID, UMPC or PS3





















Stream games from a PC running Vista or XP 

to a PC, laptop, EeePC, MID or UMPC running Vista or XP

Start the StreamMyGame Server and login. 

 

 

The StreamMyGame Server will then connect to the StreamMyGame website and will display "Communicating" and then display "Connected, Ready to launch games". Approximately every 60 seconds it will contact our server and let it know that it is online.

 

 

Now go to your laptop, open your browser  and login to the StreamMyGame website

 

Press the "Your Home" button on the website menu

 

 

Then press the "Your Games" button in the "StreamMyGame Toolbar".

 

 

 

Scroll down until you see the game you want to stream to your laptop. Click on the "Stream Game at Home" button.

 

 

This will take you to the "Stream at Home" page. Leave the resolution and bandwidth set at their default settings and press the big "Stream at Home" button.

 

  

Your Player will now start, and display the following message.

 

 

Enter your StreamMyGame website login Username and Password. Press OK and the StreamMyGame Server will start on your main PC. The StreamMyGame Player will start and display the following

 

 

The purple bar will cycle while its communicating with the StreamMyGame Server and the game will start and be displayed in the StreamMyGame Player.

 

 

Now click with your mouse anywhere on the StreamMyGame Player display and you will be able to control the game mouse and use your keyboard to control the game. To get back to your Windows mouse press and hold your keyboard Esc key for 4 seconds. To get control of the game again just click anywhere on the StreamMyGame Player display.

 

You can also switch between Windowed and Full Screen mode with this button and change the Aspect Ratio with this button

 

Some computer games, such as Counter Strike, switch the audio input to microphone when they start so you can use it for in game audio. This stops StreamMyGame from being able to access the audio. If you cannot hear any audio, press the Audio Switch button   on the StreamMyGame Player and wait for 3 seconds. Each time you press the Audio Button it will switch the audio Recording Input of the StreamMyGame Server. Keep pressing it until you hear audio. 

 

When you want to stop playing the game, quit it just as you would normally. After the game has stopped the StreamMyGame Player will still be open, after 30 seconds it will time-out and close. If you want to close it before the timeout just press the Esc key to display your Windows mouse and then close the StreamMyGame Player.

Now you have streamed locally your PCs are ready to Stream over Broadband.

Stream games from a PC running Vista or XP

to any PC, Device or mobile running Linux

Start the StreamMyGame Server on your PC and login. 

 

 

The StreamMyGame Server will then connect to the StreamMyGame website and will display "Communicating" and then display "Connected, Ready to launch games". Approximately every 60 seconds it will contact our server and let it know that it is online.

 

 

Now go to your Linux PC or Device, open Firefox and login to the StreamMyGame website

 

Press the "Your Home" button on the website menu

 

 

Then press the "Your Games" button in the "StreamMyGame Toolbar".

 

 

Scroll down until you see the game you want to stream to your laptop. Click on the "Stream Game at Home" button.

 

 

This will take you to the "Stream at Home" page. Leave the resolution and bandwidth set at their default settings and press the big "Stream at Home" button.

 

  

Your StreamMyGame Linux Player will now start, and display the following message. 

Press the "Login and play the game" button and then enter your StreamMyGame website Username and Password

Now press the "Login" button and the StreamMyGame Linux Player will display the following

Now go to your PlayStation 3, open Firefox and login to the StreamMyGame website

 

Press the "Your Home" button on the StreamMyGame website menu

 

 

Then press the "Your Games" button in the "StreamMyGame Toolbar".

 

 

Scroll down until you see the game you want to stream to your PlayStation 3. Click on the "Stream Game at Home" button.
